Taxi RatesFares for local trips
Whether you’re going to or from Logan Airport, or another destination in Boston, Worcester, or the Metrowest area, Tommy’s Taxi is the reliable, safe, and affordable way to get there. Our cab rates are based on mileage and time and are determined by a taximeter. Rates are set periodically by the Framingham City Council, and all taximeters are inspected, tested, and sealed annually by the Framingham Department of Inspectional Services.

Here is everything to know about taxi rates:
$ 5.00 – First 1/7ths of a mile
$ .55 – Each additional 1/7th of a mile or fraction thereof
$ 36.00 – Waiting time, beginning 4 minutes after the arrival of the taxicab (.55 Per minute)
$ 8.30 – First mile
$3.85 – Each additional mile
Traffic delays may result in higher cab fares due to stop-and-go traffic.
Fuel surcharges range from .25 to $2.00, depending upon the amount of the fare.
Payment
We accept cash and all major credit cards. We also welcome corporate accounts.
Gift Certificates
Tommy’s Taxi offers Gift Certificates in $5.00 denominations. These ”taxi dollars” can be used just like cash to pay a cab fare. Taxi dollars make great gifts for seniors, students, or anyone who needs to get somewhere!
Airport Cab Rates (Logan Airport)
Taxi rates to and from Logan Airport include tolls and fuel surcharges. Driver gratuity is NOT included.
Add $10 for early bird pickups. (before 5am)
Add $2 fuel surcharge on all airport trips.
(Return trip is $2 higher due to MassPort fee.)
